Oh, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! There’s nothing I enjoy more than the holidays, and now more than ever with our Nate! Yesterday, my talented friend Cindy from Caprilina hosted her Christmas event at Pottery Barn Kids in Merrick Park and of course, I went by to support her and brought our boy along with me. I had no idea Santa and Elf on the Shelf would be there until I started seeing photos on Social Media and that made it even MORE exciting!
Being able to document these little moments for Nathan is so important to us because we want to instill every Christmas tradition —that is important to us— from his first first trip around the sun with us!
From photographs with Santa to Elf on the Shelf visits and a revamped bedroom that is decked out with Christmas decor! There’s no doubt I want to make every single Christmas absolutely unforgettable for him (and for us)! Even though he won’t remember meeting Santa or baking cookies for him the night before, or how Elf on the Shelf visited him since his very first Christmas… I will be sure to take photos and videos of everything so that when he is older and he understands the magic of Christmas and believes in all these things, I am able to share with him these fun Christmas memories from his first Christmas with us.
So, yes, the event was absolutely gorgeous and magical! I picked up a couple of things for Nate and for my niece, Lily, who recently turned two! I can’t wait to watch them in their Christmas pj’s as they wait for Santa year after year. I invite you to check out her website here. She’s a Miami local and such a kind-hearted, humble, young female entrepreneur! I love supporting other women who have small businesses… Especially when everything is so freaking cute!!! Without a doubt, Caprilina has been one of my favorite places to shop clothes for Nathan since I found out I was pregnant. From coming home outfits to blankets, bibs, and Christmas onesies. We’ve got it all and we can’t wait to continue making traditions even more special with cute tailored outfits like these!
I leave you here with a little Christmas spirit from yesterday’s beautiful event and Nate’s first time meeting ole’ St. Nick!
