Audrey Hepburn

QUEEN. The beautiful and talented, Audrey Hepburn stepping out of town with her trusty speedy bag. This classic bag was said to have been created just for her. This star was born Audrey Kathleen Ruston on May 4, 1929  and passed at 63 years old on January 20, 1993 from cancer in her appendix. Audrey was a British actress and humanitarian. Although modest about her acting ability, she continues to remain as  one of the world’s most famous actresses of all time and remembered as a film and fashion icon of the twentieth century. One of her most famous movies of all time and that one we remember her most in, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, sealed the deal for this timeless star. I think I have watched that movie over fifty times. I have it in DVD and I have the book by Truman Capote –another American classic! I have always been a great fan of Ms. Hepburn. Her class and glamorous ways remind me very much of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. These two women were not only empowering, but great role models to women of all ages! Their names have and will always live on forever. What I most admire about these two is the fact that, unlike Marilyn Monroe, they did not have to appear naked half of the time to feel beautiful. Ladies, always remember, LESS is MORE. Stay classy, darling!
